II Charitable Golf Tournament "Saving Lives"

The Voluntariado Jesús con los Niños organized the first edition of the charitable golf tournament, "Saving Lives," on November 26, 2022, at the Playa Dorada Golf Club in Puerto Plata.
The event welcomed more than 80 players who enjoyed various amenities on the course, and during the opening and award ceremonies, a spirit of solidarity and camaraderie prevailed among all attendees. Each welcome kit contained a message written by some of the children assisted by the Voluntariado, serving as great motivation for the players.
The inaugural event was attended by Mrs. Ginnette Bournigal, Senator for the Province of Puerto Plata, and prominent entrepreneurs from different cities in the country. The ceremony began with the blessing offered by Father Tony Bonilla and ended with the tee-off by the child, Luis Adiel Rivera, assisted by the Santiago businessman, Ricardo Mejía.
In the presentation lineup was a representation of the Volunteers, led by Mrs. Xenia Gell de Álvarez, President of the Founding Council, Eliyania Torres de Martínez, Director of the Voluntariado branch in Puerto Plata, and Mr. Américo Núñez, Technical Director of the tournament.
The award ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Kathy Morillo, accompanied by Jeannina Estévez de Báez, Volunteer and main organizer of the event, and Carmen German, Director of Volunteer Fundraising.
