In 2008, Anthony Galuccio visited the city of Santiago de los Caballeros by invitation from a friend and his wife, and it was during this visit that he first encountered the "Voluntariado Jesús con los Niños."

During his visit, Mr. Galuccio met a teenager who was admitted to the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Unit of the Hospital, and that patient touched his heart from the beginning.

Months later, he called the Volunteer to inquire about the health of the patient he had in his heart, only to receive the sad news that the patient had passed away.

At that moment, he felt a strong desire to contribute because he imagined how difficult it must be for parents not to have the necessary resources to cover their children's treatments. He committed to making contributions to the Volunteer for the purchase of medications and the application of treatments for children with cancer.

Mr. Galuccio personally experienced the struggle against cancer, as his father passed away from it when he was just 11 years old. He also witnessed his mother fighting against the disease three times, and she is a survivor.

Through his Foundation, Ashley Angels, Mr. Galuccio makes donations and organizes events to raise funds in the United States. The money raised is sent to the Volunteer to treat children admitted to the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Unit of the Arturo Grullón Children's Hospital.

The frequent donations made by the Ashley Angels Foundation significantly contribute to the "Voluntariado Jesús con los Niños," allowing us to continue saving lives.
